Operational and Program Evaluation, Windsor, Ontario for Ministry of Health
This project involved the evaluation of the efficiencies of regional rehabilitation services to identify possible means to consolidate and streamline service delivery. An opinion was requested as to the appropriateness of a functional plan which had been developed. The methodology involved an operational review of staff mix, clinical services and functions, equipment and space utilization, results achieved, organization design and the use of technology to support related business processes (eg: patient scheduling). This involved review of documents, clinical protocols, budgets, staffing mix and qualifications, and utilization and workload statistics. Extensive interviews were also conducted.
