Two London-area entrepreneurs are the latest inductees into Junior Achievement’s London and District Business Hall of Fame.

Karen Fryday-Field, managing partner of Meridian Edge Leadership and Governance Consulting Group, and Joel McLean, founder of Info-Tech Research Group, are being honoured for their contributions to business and entrepreneurship.

“Thrilled, excited, very humbled and very appreciative,” Fryday-Field said, extending the recognition to her family and team at Meridian.

“I can’t think of an organization that so closely aligns with what I’ve been trying to achieve in my business career and life.”

Meridian is a consulting service for small and medium-sized businesses and other organizations.Joel McLean of Info-Tech is one of two people being inducted into the London and District Business Hall of Fame this year. McLean founded Info-Tech in 1997 to advise businesses on hardware and software issues. With offices in London and Toronto, the technology firm has about 700 employees and is one of the fastest-growing IT companies in North America.

JA is a non-profit organization that empowers young entrepreneurs and connects them with the business community. JA selects two people each year for its business hall of fame.

Fryday-Field and McLean, both graduates of the Ivey Business School at Western University, will be inducted at a gala dinner Oct. 21.

Their names and portraits will be displayed at the London Public Library’s Central Branch.
